Two political science majors have received the 2006 Wallace E. Barron
All-University Senior Award, one of the highest honors an Iowa State
students can receive during his or her collegiate career.
Five students have been selected for the Barron Award and will be honored
on Feb. 17 by the ISU Alumni Association for their high character, outstanding
achievement in academics and university/community activities, and promise
for continuing these exemplary qualities as alumni.
The two political science honorees included Tony Borich, a senior from
Ames, who also has majors in community and regional planning and environmental
studies, and Angela Groh, a senior from Thornton, Iowa. Groh is also
president of the Government of the Sudent Body.
