Lecturer in Political Science. The Department of Political Science at Iowa State University invites applications for a Lecturer position beginning August 16, 2008. The position is a non-tenure track appointment, subject to Departmental needs and availability of funds. Summer session appointments may be possible, depending on need. Position(s) may be for either one semester or both semesters and to be filled on a term basis (1-3 years), full- or part-time, with possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses within one or more of the political science subfields: theory and methods, American government and politics, comparative politics, international relations, or public administration.
Required qualifications: ABD. in Political Science or related discipline, evidence of scholarly and teaching activities. Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. in Political Science or related discipline.
