Policy on Graduate Tuition Scholarships
 
Notice to Political Science Department/Public Administration Program graduate students and to departments employing Political Science/Public Administration graduate students on assistantships.

Because of recent changes in the funding of graduate tuition scholarships, the Political Science Department has adopted a policy, effective Fall 2004.

The Department of Political Science will fund Graduate Tuition Scholarships for students who meet all of the following criteria:

The student

Failure to meet any one of the above criteria could result in the loss of funding for a scholarship and/or assistantship.

The department will not generally fund graduate tuition scholarships for Political Science graduate students with graduate assistantships in other departments.  In such cases, if the graduate tuition scholarship is to be paid, it must be funded by the hiring department unless other arrangements have been made with the Department of Political Science.
