Students can apply for all graduate programs in the Department through ISU’s Graduate College. The application is available at this link. Instructions on applying to the Graduate College are available here.
Applicants can choose to defer the application fee until after their application has been reviewed, and defer payment to their first university bill after enrolling at Iowa State.
Our program does not require GRE scores. We do not require TOEFL/IELTS scores for students who will have a degree from a U.S. college or university when they start our program.
If English is not the only official language of the country in which the degree was received, TOEFL, IELTS, or other ISU approved English proficiency scores are required. For minimum required English scores and other information about applying, click here.
