Students who submit a free pre-application by going to the following link and selecting political science will receive a tentative admission decision within one week: https://apply.grad-college.iastate.edu/ We do not require letters of recommendation for the preapplication, and students can self-report grades and test scores.
Our program does not require GRE scores. We do not require TOEFL/IELTS scores for students who will have a degree from a U.S. college or university when they start our program. If English is not the only official language of the country in which the degree was received, TOEFL, IELTS or other ISU approved English proficiency scores are required.
